Although EGT's efforts are very outstanding I am making a map more on the lines of Big Tex wants (Look at Wysteria or The Heartland.) So just leave what are you want. Tell me it by country, tell me it by city, or tell me it by geographical anomoly, just tell it and I will try and fit you in. There will also be region. For example a Central Texas Region, a South Texas region, Houston/Corpus Region *coastal), an East Texas Region, a N Texas region, and a West Texas region. Did I mention a panhandle region? So this is a new topic so I dont get confused on the other map. |

So are we generally going to leave the spots where we were on the other maps, and then where there are conflicts we'll divide those areas up? Basically does everyone need to restate where they want to be? Gees AbFab, you get one too many gin and tonics in you and you become all immature Can't say I blame you, I think they taste pretty good. |

I'm personally of the opinion that any map of Texas should look like Texas. I don't see us being able to do a Wysteria or Heartland type map and still have it be Texas. I like the map EGT had started, but with him leaving the region I don't know what's going to become of it. I certainly don't think we need two maps. |

Perhaps we can put together a "concept art" type map thing to allay everyone's fears. We will get with -Texas- and work on a little something. Trust us, there will be no doubting it is Texas! |

If you will look at Wysteria's you will see that when you click on an island it gives you a map of an island, then when you click on a nation it gives you a map of a nation. So this is how it will work on this map. You click on a region (Central Texas), and see the Central Texas viewing area (like they have on those weather warning maps), and then you will see the outline of countries and you click on a country and you see its personal map. Now to get all the way to personal maps it will take some time, but the state wide map and regional maps should be quick. As for requests say the same if you want the same area you have. If some bozo took Harris County and you really want Harris county and got Webb county instead, then get your compromising hat on and we will try to get some consensus between the conflicting nations. |

Greenspoint would like to lay claim, as in the EGT map, to Harris county. Northwest Houston will settle again for Waller county. |

Thanks for the clarification -Texas-! This will certainly not be an overnight thing, but it should be something we will all enjoy and be proud of. Pehaps Texans can take part in creating their own national maps with forests, lakes, mountains ( ), highways etc. There are a few publicly available tools that may assist in this. Of course we are just thinking out loud and nothing is chiseled in stone. However, we know the concept of regions will be cool! Inter-regional competitions have great possibilities! The Panhandle vs. The Valley in a Winner-Take-All Cow Patty Toss! West Texas vs. Piney Woods in a Cookie Bake Off - Loser leaves Texas! (just kidding!) Who knows? We don't, but it has immense potential! We are still thinking out loud which is always very dangerous! Trust -Texas-, it will be cool! |

As a recap, we will repost the last update EGT had:
As -Texas- mentioned, if you want something you don't have, it is time to put on your best bartering/negotiating hat!

Baisicly the countries will be the same as EGT's but more detailed and much larger. One difference is that I am willing to share Travis County with New Texas and take southern Burnet. |
